Questionable hook, question?? Are you questioning my question? How DARE YOU, QUESTIONER!!! Secondary hook?

FISH ON!!!

Kidding! I wasn't trying to belittle you, just poking some fun. I was just trying to catch a whale with some catchy catchening. Then, I'll take the whale to my catcheners kitchen and proceed in the art of cutlery... wanna cutler with me??

OKAY... ALRIGHT!!! There will be no cutlering, or cuddling or however you spell it. Hell, horrible spelling is an inherited hereditary trait by happenstance anyway so don't harass me with the wild-hare-up-your-hilariously happy homonyms and handsome hindering of my haggard word hobbling.... I'll hate it highly and hypocritically!

ALRIGHT.. NOW I'M DONE

I'm not sure exactly what THE ABOVE was. Well, scratch that, it was about 100 words of total non-sense. If you are still reading, I am surprised, but grateful! So, I'll try to make the rest of this post worth your while. It's just an update in the art of success. I wanted to share a little feedback from the ghostwriting contract that I completed yesterday.

**For those of you who did not read the article I wrote by the name of, "The Humble Ghost Writer," it talks about the controversy of ghost writing. I also wrote a little in the article about the fact that I was actually doing a ghostwriting piece myself on a contract through a freelancing platform.

The very next article that I wrote was about success. I wrote that article earlier today, and it explores the process of achieving success and the HOW of re-creating that result. I wanted to share the feedback that I got from my client, today. I thought it might be encouraging to any of you who might be trying to achieve some success. If you haven't read the success article that I wrote, it is called, "Success is a Slippery Slope." Basically, it compares "success" to the butt-ugly monster boss in a video game and explores how we continue to have success after defeating him, by perfecting the art of war by trial and error.

I used these very tactics to land the contract that I got with this client. I am going to share with you guys the feedback that he gave me, after all milestones were completed. Here you go:

Jonathan has moxy. His writing sells. He was last to bid on a job for which we had already hired a writer. But his pitch was so spot on, his drive so direct, that we just had to create a whole new gig to hand it to him, because he sold us on it.

“The first thing that I would do, should you award me the job, is…” and then he extensively began to wow us, by displaying how well he’d come to understand our detailed requirements and the purpose of the assignment – an assignment he didn’t get.

However, under the new assignment, he left no doubt in our minds that we had made the right decision.

Jonathan was given a single keyword phrase to take off with, to produce a 3,000-word article meant to produce money for us, plain and simple. What did he deliver? Well, he simply handed us just that. He returned with a first draft skinny on fluff and heavy on conviction, passion and salesmanship.

Every paragraph that he presented was punchy, poignant, persuasive. It’s going to get us clicks! He focused on delivering several product reviews, well contextualized by pertinent insights that should attract our readers and keep their interest alive for the fullness of the article. In short, much as I told him, he has all the makings of a sales copywriter and it seems this comes natural to him, because he can deliver copious copy in a flash!

He’s worth every penny…and more! Take him on. He won’t disappoint.

This feedback came with a 5 out of 5 star rating from my client. I'm super stoked, couldn't contain it, had to share it! :D I will be engaging in some work for this client tomorrow. Their team will be putting another gig together for me.

If you are seeking success in something, just remember not to give up. If what you are doing isn't working, go back to the drawing board and plan your next attack. Failure is just a learning experience and is necessary on the road to success. Failures are an important part of our journey. How many times do we fall down, before we learn to walk? How many times do we trip, before we are running? How many times do we get on that bike, before... well... you get the picture...

What are your dreams and aspirations? What goals do you have for yourself? How do you plan to achieve them?

Whatever they are, I wish you the best on them!

God is GOOD!!
