I'm glad that my post was one of the top selected posts for the steem diary challenge. It means a lot to me. This is a very good avenue for me to stick to producing original content. I appreciate every input.
It's another wonderful time of the season. I mean the quarantine season. The new challenge at hand focused on nominating a newcomer. Every newcomer is called JJC here which means Johnny just come. The Johnny is a general name for everyone coming in new.
I've read Countless posts on steem recently. I've enjoyed and frowned at many articles, and as a matter of fact, I've seen some that I would not want to talk about. I'm glad that we still have a lot of reasonable writers on the steem blockchain writing to impact lives.
Does many JJC know how to publish good contents?
The answer to this question is Yes and No. When I joined steem, I didn't know much about writing good content. I did most of my publication on musing.com, which currently is not functioning on the steem blockchain and anywhere. I also pulled some trigger on sports talks. I am a good soccer fan who knows how to give some sport news. I posted a reasonable number of sports on sportstalk before I halted, but that still doesn't make me a pro writer. However, I'm not at the bottom list either.
I wasn't a bad author when I joined, neither am I a prof, but still aspiring to become a professor in linguistics in the next few years. Clearly, many new steemians are not well of a writer. After reading through a series of posts from various JJC's, I discovered they are still not clear about the concept of writing. For instance, I saw good potential in @hungry-fish. I don't know his/her status, but permit me to use a feminine gesture. She writes in a very clear description, but getting the way around writing a blog that fits a topic is an issue. She would be a better writer if she can take her time to learn more from good existing steemians. I appreciate her little effort and would be glad to see her improve in a couple of future posts.
I can also see the curiosity of the @white-cat. She was very glad participating in the contest and also feels excited to be on the steem blockchain. No effort was left unappreciated by the @steemcuration1 account, which was super fantastic. From my point of view, she also doesn't understand how to present herself or rather choose to talk about her daughter, which is somewhat part of her anyways. I expected much of her, but she gave a little or nothing about her diary. Nevertheless, I wish her daughter happy birthday from the deepest part of my heart. If @white-cat can also learn the concept of writing, she would make a good writer on the blockchain.
Who am I nominating? @prezzie
I don't want to pick anyone blindly, that's why I took my time to read and digest various contents on the feed. Like seriously, I'm choosing this person not because I have any connection with her, but because I see
the potential in her. When I checked through her account, it was created in August 2019. That was 8 months ago, which clearly isn't a baby account. Nevertheless, the number of her posts recorded show she recently started being active. Her reputation isn't much as well, so I would still classify her as a new steemian.
I came across a few of her posts before I delved into her account persay. After checking some of her contents, I discovered she was awesome. As a new steemian, writing a post like that shows that she would learn fast and key into the system within a short period. I don't know if I'm judging right, but you can also check out the @prezzie account and confirm.
The best post that made me nominate her was her last post as of when I'm writing this post. It was part of the "My favorite meal challenge ". I love the way she came up with the write-up. Looking at her posts from the past, this happens to be the best, and if such content comes from her, it means she can write even better. I enjoyed every bit of what I read. I hereby nominate her as one of the best newcomer (JJC) on steem.
I'm not yet through with my reasons for nominating her.
Apart from the fact that her latest blog enticed me, I saw the potential of becoming a great blogger in her.
She is very original and knows how to create pictures from what she's conveying to her audience with words.
As a newbie starting with such quality, she would become more skillful and competent. I love her writings. Please keep it up @prezzie.
Thank you for this great nomination in the Nominate a Newcomer Challenge.
Keep following @steemitblog for new challenges every week.
