Bird photowalk with a pleasant surprise

Spring is here! Many migratory birds have arrived in recent weeks...So,why not do a bird photowalk.
During my walk, I found some beautiful birds to photograph + a pleasant surprise showed up in the woods...The creature I found has a long body, no legs and its skin has a covering of scales :) .

Thanks!

That seemed like a great photowalk. I like the pictures especially the grass snake.

Cute and beautiful birds among nice nature! Great shot! ;)

p.s. I'm afraid of the snake. It can frighten me if I face it so close like this.
