A day in the Life of a CAT - Qurator's Monday Mission

For a few years now, since I started working and I have a family, I often find myself tenderly observing some cats that live among the tires of a workshop under the house. Every morning, going out to work, I pass by the workshop and admire this little family of cats that are there ... comfortably lying on the wall or among the tires, and they look at you sufficiently, they almost laugh at you that every morning you have to work to have a home, buy food or have fun.

Instead, they spend their day like that, with those nice little faces, impossible to give up giving them attention or food. In the morning they wake up slowly, change their position, relax and lie in the air, tanning on sunny days. They don't need to look for food because all those foolish humans, like myself, take care of them, bringing water and food to the place.

When they deem it appropriate, to move around a bit, they wander nearby, visit the nearby gardens, finding a comfortable place to do their physical needs. They run around looking for some distraction or passersby who caress them a little. They visit neighboring cats, occasionally they quarrel and when it is the period they flirt. In the evening we go home ... Among the tires ... We are together with our family, between some effusion and pampering ... And then we go back to sleep ...

Da qualche anno, sin da quando ho iniziato a lavorare ed ho famiglia, che spesso mi ritrovo ad osservare teneramente alcuni gatti che vivono tra le gomme di un'officina sotto casa. Ogni mattina, uscendo per andare a lavoro, passo dall'officina e ammiro questa famigliola di gatti che se ne stanno lì... Comodamente sdraiati sul muretto o tra le gomme, e ti guardano con sufficienza, quasi ridono di te che ogni mattina devi lavorare per avere una casa, comprare cibo o svagarti.

Loro invece trascorrono le loro giornata così, con quei bei musetti teneri, impossibile desistere dal dare loro attenzioni o del cibo. La mattina si svegliano lentamente, cambiano posizione, si rilassano e se ne stanno pancia all'aria, ad abbronzarsi nelle giornate di sole. Non hanno bisogno di cercare cibo perché tutti quegli umani fessi, come me stesso, si prendono cura di loro, portando sul posto acqua e cibo.

Quando lo reputano opportuno, per muoversi un po', si aggirano nei paraggi, visitano i giardini vicini, trovando un posto comodo dove fare i propri bisogni fisici. Scorrazzano qua e là alla ricerca di qualche distrazione o di qualche passante che li accarezzino un po'. Fanno visita ai gatti vicini, ogni tanto litigano e quando è il periodo amoreggiano. La sera si ritorna a casa... Tra le gomme... Si sta assieme alla propria famiglia, tra qualche effusione e coccola... E poi si torna a dormire...

Ecco... Mi piacerebbe essere un gatto!
