I wake up seeing the beauty of my city that these last days has been at peace, with cleaner and fresher air, with a more beautiful sky, full of birds everywhere thanks to the collective quarantine since we caraqueños have stayed at home to avoid the spread of the virus.

Sadly, covid-19 has brought about large amounts of human losses in the world, especially in those countries that did not take the necessary precautions in time, those that ignored the seriousness of the virus, countries such as Italy, Spain and now the United States, which are at the top of the list of contagious countries, where the number of deaths from the virus is increasing rapidly.

In the case of Venezuela, when the first two cases of contagion were detected in people traveling to Europe and the U.S., a quarantine was decreed and flights from Europe, Colombia, Panama, Brazil and the Dominican Republic were closed, along with others with a high probability of contagion, and the borders with Colombia and Brazil were closed.

This has brought good results for us since the spread of the virus has been controlled by taking these measures and by staying at home, the citizens comply with the use of the mouthpiece cover in a conscious way.

In a few days the planet will be cleaned up and this will be part of the natural selection ?

This reminds us that we are part of nature, human beings, the highest of the aminal evolution, we disrespect and destroy everything in our path, conscious or unconscious human beings pollute, leading many species to their extinction or isolation from their natural environment.

On the Venezuelan coast you can see whales, dolphins and sharks enjoying their habitat freely, which has been exploited by humans for so long. From the cities, beaches and mountains have recovered part of their beauty. The planet needed this to isolate us for a while and let it rest.

The Covid-19 reminds us that we are also animals of this chain and at this moment we are in danger of extinction.

I hope we can all see beauty in the midst of the global chaos that this pandemic has generated.
