Why didn't anyone like this drawing?

Hello, friends of the OCD community. Today I want to share with you this drawing that I published a few days ago on my blog. I don't know if this is against the rules (most likely it is), but I share once again this same drawing, because in the publication three days ago it didn't get the rewards I think it deserves. And come on, the drawing is simple but it's not bad either. I have seen, without any intention of judging anyone, less elaborate drawings being better rewarded.

Why didn't anyone like this drawing? I mean, I really thank the few people who voted and the projects @theunion and @neoxian for also supporting me. But what I mean is the big vote whales. Could it be that the problem is that I didn't publish in any community? If so, is that what communities came for? So that it's not worth posting on your blog because whales only vote in their communities? I don't think that's the reason for the low rewards. I wish it wasn't. But that's the thing: what happened?

It's a bit demotivating to spend a certain amount of hours for two days making a drawing and then it doesn't seem to be attractive enough for the big whales. Where did all those hours go?

Well, folks, I don't want to keep tiring you with my complaints, doubts and pity. Sincerely this post is just a new attempt to make this drawing better rewarded and for that I thought it was fair to explain the reasons for this publication. I never liked to act with double intentions but rather with total transparency, so that's the mere truth about this post.

I rejected the rewards in this publication, but if you want to support this drawing you can do it here in the original post. I will be encouraged by your support even if you are not a whale, really. In fact, writing this post has encouraged me a lot, it was the relief I needed.

Have you ever been in a similar situation? Do you understand the feeling? I'd like to know your experience. Leave a comment.

Thank you very much for your attention and support, friends of the OCD community!

We mainly focus on curating our own community lately but the OCD team also works on finding great daily posts outside of our community which then get nominated in the @ocd compilation posts and curated. That's why it doesn't make much sense that you ask here why no one curated it when you didn't post it here, anyway, gave it a vote as I like the drawing. :)

Thanks a lot for the support, @ocd-witness. You have taken away a lot of the doubt I was feeling. One thing I wanted to know was if it was more advisable to publish in the communities to have a better chance of getting big votes, and according to your answer, it seems that it is. Once again thank you very much for your support and see you in a next drawing! Have a nice day!
