Evil that men do, lives after them

It is often said that a day worth living is when one gets a lot of things to learn from it either the good way or the bad way. This was how yesterday was to me, a lot of crisis around and said moments as well to make one learn from these things. As you can see we are in Wednesday today, and the place seems to be quite than we all wanted it to be.

All because of covid-19, the leaders of my region have to turn the tables around in other to make sure that we stay safe by recording a zero case over here. Due to that, Wednesdays which was supposed to be the big market day in the Bono region of Ghana, have been shut down until further notice. No person without a shop will be allowed to trade on these days.

The reason is simple, and it is to keep other traders coming from other regions to trade here not to come at all. The cases in other regions keeps increasing and we can’t bear to allow all these people come around to trade goods and services here.

Day 16 over here out of lockdown saw one of the sadest news in one of our region here in Ghana, and for some one or two reasons I would try my best to not tell the particular region. But the news in total is that, a woman reported to the police about the missing of her husband who was a biochemist in the armed forces. So the police took the matter on and started off with some investigations, which lead them to shrine of a festish priest called Power one.

As the laws of the police demands they arrested two other associates who were sent in for questioning concerning, the missing ex biochemist of the armed forces. At series of interrogations they confirmed that the man had been killed by them and had been buried after their compound. What makes it more sad is that when they got to the location where the festish priest and his two accomplist had 4 other burial grounds for people they have murdered.

From the story of the ex biochemist the fetish priest confessed that he took his 1350$ that he as going to double that amount for him but the ex military person kept disturbing them with his money and so they had to kill him just to cut things short. Meaning this fetish priest had no powers of doubling monies for others. Such a fake priest we have around.
This Case is still in the early stages and I will watch closely to bring you all the details if any other thing should come up.

My last story that made it through the waves yesterday was that of some tricycles riders in the Sunyani west district of Bono region have turned a deaf ear to all the directives given to them by the Regional Minister of Bono region.

When we entered the stage of locked down weeks ago, these tricycles riders were stopped from working with some incentives to survive through all the lockdown period. But after every thing resumed to work they were still on lockdown until somewhere last week they were asked to work.

The conditions to their resume was to only pick a maximum of two passengers at a time than their usual 4-6. This was to make sure they obey the social distancing protocols. But news flying around showed that these people never obey them. The authorities were notified and I know they would take it on. If anything should come up today, I will tell you how they all went.
