I'd like to share this wildlife drawing of a roaring lioness I made as my last sketch for the day. I'm fascinated by the varieties of facial expressions that animals produce and this is one of the most powerful of those expressions ever.
I used a black ball-point pen and pelican paper for this drawing.
Here are the steps involved;
First, I drew an outline of the lioness face with her wide open jaws showing all the features.
Next, I began shading the lioness's face and adding fur details.
For the last step, I drew the whiskers,added more details to the mouth and also to the fur till I got a result I was pleased with.
