Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having a great time.
I'm pretty new to using colors for making drawings but I'm certain with continuous practice and learning, I'll be better at this.
I made this drawing of an eye using the colored pencils I just got. I'm starting my practice from the human eye first then would progress to other parts of the body as time goes on. Here are the steps in my drawing;
First, I made a free hand sketch of the eye using a graphite pencil
Next, I used charcoal and black coloured pencil to draw out the dark areas of the eye.
I began using the blue colored pencil for the lens.

Afterwards, I used the red, pink, orange and yellow colors for the skin.

Finally, I used the black colors for the eye lids.
I'm glad I got a satisfactory result and so hopeful I'll get better at this with time.

Excellent technique. NOTE: I think the photos of your progress may be a bit oversaturated. A lot of photo management software does that with photos of artwork for some reason.
