Hello, everybody! Jean here again. I haven't been able to post so many articles lately due to personal/emotional problems and I didn't dare to make a publication here, life is hard, but nothing that can't be overcome. :)

Lately I've been watching a lot of games and movies to kill time and organize all my thoughts, in all this time I entertained myself watching gameplays of games like Outlast 2, but, the one I've fallen in love with the most is definitely God of War 4, a game that for me has been a great masterpiece exclusive to PS4 and, if you have the console, you shouldn't miss this game in any way.

If you like games take a look at this little review of this masterpiece (in my opinion)

I've always been a fan of God of War, just imagine being a character that kills heroes, titans and even Greek gods throughout his life. A life full of misfortunes that have made your thirst for vengeance so great that you've been able to wipe out all the enemies in your path. I like games that give you the feeling that you have the power to take them all down and, God of War has never let me down.

To be honest, I've only played the God of War games on PS2 (GOW 1 and 2) and I also played the Ghost of Sparta on PSP, the rest of God of War I've seen through gameplays and yet I've enjoyed watching the entire plot of the game progress so far to God of War 4, a complete change from everything we knew as God of War.

God of War 4 is a game that has changed the God of War franchise completely, from the events that happened in God of War 3 (Kratos ended up destroying all Greek mythology), we moved to the Nordic mythology, the way it changed everything was shocking for many as it was difficult to imagine Kratos in the Nordic mythology, but Santa Monica surprised us with this and it really was a perfect shot.

We have a Kratos who is now a father, his mission now is to take care of his son Atreus who lost his mother, it seems that Kratos lived hidden from all the gods of the Nordic mythology since nobody knew about his existence until Baldur (the most annoying and rare God I have ever met) gets to know about the existence of Kratos.

This fight was super entertaining because one of the things I love most about God of War is seeing how stupidly strong the characters can be, the presentation they gave Baldur and the way they showed that Kratos was not just an old man to me was perfect and it was definitely a very good introduction to the whole story of the game.

If you want to see how beautiful the cutscenes are and how the fights work in the game, take a look at this video:

And this is where I want to add my comments: Why do I think the way they present everything in the game little by little is really amazing?

I only see the exciting way Baldur appears to beat Kratos (well, to try) and that was enough to keep my spark of curiosity burning throughout the game, to see all these epic battles in a closer way and now that we are in a completely unknown place really make this GoW something to make the most of.

Definitely the fights are things that I fell in love with the game, the new style of combat made many players learn to play this new way and it's really entertaining, seeing Kratos in a closer way is something completely different and, after more than 5 games with the same form of combat, really the change is more than deserved.

But, the cutscenes don't get left behind

When I got to the scene of seeing a giant fucking snake I was stunned. HOW COULD WE FIGHT THAT? To my surprise, in the end it was our friend and it helped us a lot, but it was nice to think that there was a possibility to fight a snake the size of the world. Scenes like this are what made me love this game definitely, I've said that several times throughout the article, but seeing the monstrosity of the characters is something that makes me much more interested in the game.

I feel that I miss a lot since I can't play this game, unfortunately I don't have a PS4 (nor a PS3) so I couldn't even play the God of War 3, but watching the game through walkthroughs makes the experience amazing still, I really enjoyed watching the game thanks to MKIceAndFire channel on YouTube (you can check it out, he really has amazing content)

If you want to see part 1 of the game (where I started watching everything), you can go to the video and enjoy God of War 4 like a fucking movie (the experience is that incredible).

I also dream of being able to play some PS exclusives one day mate haha.

Have you checked Shadow of the Colossus? It is probably one of the most breathtaking games ever created.

I would buy a Ps4 to play The Last of Us, it's by far the best game ever IMO.

It's funny because I've heard about that game, but I've never dared to watch a gameplay or even the trailer, now that you mention it, I'll take a look :)
