Yeah, I think that was from the 12 hour race at Bathurst on the weekend. Funny huh? Not so funny when they get hit though. Paint a number on the side of that roo and who knows? He may have won!

Haha...yeah they are darn fast aren't they? I was pretty impressed! Are they overpopulating too? Do they sell Kangaroo meat there?

Yes, kangaroo meat is sold at butchers, supermarkets and restaurants here and around the world.
I cull roos on a cattle farm, but don't take the meat as when I cull I do so on tags and am culling for pest control, not hunting. They are classified differently. here. I can only shoot as many roos as the farmer has allocated tags from the government. He has hundreds annually.

Oh wow, so they are thick down there. Well that's good. Or at least better than being on the endangered list. What does the meat taste like, is it a mild or strong taste and do you guys ever get it?
Oh! I just saw that you won the League last week, I just sent you 5 steem. A couple weeks ago I decreased my prize from 10 to 5 because some weeks I only make 5 and I want to keep my account growing.
And your brother is in 3rd! lol..now I'm looking for a one-two finish!

Yeah, prolific here, millions of them. Around 2010 some 30 million, in 2016 around 45 million and now some 60 million are estimated. It's a very lean meat, quite game-flavoured. It needs to be cooked quickly, rare to medium, and is pleasurable to eat. It's quite a healthy meat, although vegans would disagree I guess.
I don't eat kangaroo much. If I'm in the outback, at some outback pub or something then I'll chow-down on it, or buffalo, camel or some such location-appropriate flesh...Crocodile maybe. I've only had camel a coupe times and it was really nice. Probably not what I would prefer to eat but it was pretty good I have to say.
Yeah, I don't know how I won man, I didn't have a good week of engagement, although seemingly I must have. I beat that bugger tarazkp though! Yeah, a one-two would be funny huh? Thanks for the transfer, not required, but appreciated.

Oh, crocodile! What is that like? And is it expensive? The League is so interesting that way, you never quite know until the results come in! You guys would make a little bit of Steemit/League history with a one-two placing!

Croc is nice. Sort of like chicken I guess, with a texture similar to fish...Sort of. It's hard to explain. Get ye some if you can, it's good.
Yeah, who knows, a one-two might be on the cards someday. We'll have to see what we can orchestrate.

Yeah you guys could compare stats and work to achieve that! lol..
I've never seen crocodile anywhere here, at least where I've been, maybe in Florida. Is it expensive? They don't raise them for meat do they? I'd like to try it.

We don't comment to gain stats though, we comment to engage and the stats take care of themselves. I'm less interested in getting up the top of the league and more interested in the social aspect of commenting and the enjoyment of doing so. My brother is the same. If we were to go first and second it would be through sheer chance than anything else.
Crocodile is harvested from the wild, not grown. There are so many of them here so its not really an issue. Having said that, there are farms specifically for the production of crocodile for handbags and shoes so that meat ends up on the market. It's no more costly than a good quality beef and is widely available across Australia. You should be able to get it there. The people below, in Texas I think, should be able to help you, at least with Alligator, and I noticed they do kangaroo also.
