If we care to look we will see that others suffer, as we do. And that we have the ability to help. In looking, we can see that moments of suffering, the colourless, dull and miserable moments, can be followed by moments of vibrant colour, joy, insight and enlightenment. And that we have the ability to help. We can see, should we choose to, that others suffer, as we do, and that sometimes that suffering is of our own making, for them, and for us. And that we have the responsibility to help.
