What an awesome find, now you know where to go and harvest some for years to come Stephen. Only ever seen a Walnut tree, these have lovely velvety protection not the usual shell.
Went for a walk this morning, so strange to see all the sports fields empty, thought it safer to walk the dogs as usual and get out before more isolation instructions are sent out.
