I could go on about the continuing pandemic and corresponding drama in every single person’s life on the planet but why bother? The coming global financial meltdown, expected now to be worse than the Great Depression of 1929 based on USA unemployment figures, etc, is now passe, or old news. So what, we have destroyed – in one month – the planet’s economy and society that took decades to develop. We are living – especially here in surreal South Africa – under tyrannical martial law and centralized state dictatorship, having sold out wholeheartedly to China. Who now rule us. So what. Old news. Such is the absurdity of the new norm.

The old system was run by western defunct capitalism, dictated by the western oligarchs and evil elite anyway, so it’s simply movement form one dictatorship to another. Now we are slaves to China, back then we were slaves to IMF, same slavery different master. But we were never free. The fact that the new Chinese masters are more racist than even the old ones, that they despise black people, 90% of South Africa, means little. They are not here to make you happy, they are here to suck up your natural resources and use us as a channel for their manufactured goods toward the other more developed western countries.
It’s a sick planet whichever angle you look at it, and the sickness is not the virus, which is a seasonal flu, the sickness is the mind on mankind. Humanity is ruled by a few psychopaths, for those are the 5% of humanity without a conscience that usually rise to the top in any power struggle, like scum on the surface of the sea. The mentally sick are our dictators. They care little for life, any life, human or animal or plant. But such is life in Kali Yuga, in the last of the Great Ages before destruction and annihilation. So we are on track for the normal universal destruction anyway. No worries mate. And this is according to the authentic Sanskrit Vedic literature, known as the Srimad Bhagavatam, or Bhagavat Purana, on the subject of Yugas, not some new age pseudo philosophy I have read in another post attempting to explain the Yugas
This little global hoax of a pandemic and the concomitant social and financial collapse into poverty and decay are just the catalyst that reminded us of the obvious. The planet was sick before the virus, mentally and psychologically. Illusion and ignorance had already overtaken the minds of humanity some time ago. So nothing new there. This is just more of the same, the next level of devolution on the path we started a long time ago. Get used to it. There is no good old days coming back. There never was, not in my lifetime. It was always war, murder, and the evil men ruling the planet since the day I was born, so no one should be under any illusions that we ever had a chance of emerging into a healthy and morally refined social construct. Never!
Of course, here on my little blog site, I receive zero comments usually, sometimes one comment. So I doubt there are even any readers of my ramble at all. Thus I no longer write for anyone other than myself, and posterity, for what it’s worth. I leave a legacy. Maybe it will act as a record of how the demise of the planet occurred. Maybe it will act as a diary for some future archaeologist to discover, in 100 years, to act as an historical document from which they can examine how our life was in these times. Or maybe not. I don’t care. I simply write now because I can, because I am in the habit, and because I make some cryptocurrency from the bots automatically upvoting my posts. Or so it seems to me.
I don’t know how I manage to get so much coin daily from my posts when no one reads them. They are not worth reading, I agree, just the ramblings of some irrelevant random remote soul in nowhere land. And some of the users of this website seem to have put me on autovote – thanks guys – money for food to keep me alive at this stage under lockdown. But as for expecting a readership, I have zero aspirations for that or any expectations whatsoever, as this entire social media site – Hive or Steem – whatever, does not work by the looks of it from my perspective. I have no social interaction here, bar the one comment I may receive every few days...at most.
So it’s a joke. It’s a failure. That is my personal opinion of this social media site, if you want to know how things are on the ground. But when you’re penniless and hungry, and can use language like I can, then you write like I do, just for the coin that seems to roll into my wallet from bots, not from the desire to please some non-existent readership. And I write so that perhaps in a few years I can look back at my legacy of work, perhaps read all the posts, and laugh my self into health. And of course, use my diary entries here as a reminder of just what I went through under the hoax and sick joke imposed upon humanity by the evil elite who want to eliminate 90% of the humans on the planet so that the remainder can feel good about themselves.
And if you are reading this then maybe you can just write a one letter comment, to prove it’s not all just bots somehow autovoting each article. I can’t imagine 150 readers are reading my posts each day, which is how many uppvotes I receive, and yet all have zero comment to make, except for the one guy. That would be odd. So, with this very post I will prove to myself by the scientific method that no one reads this stuff anyway. Very few ever have, in the two years or whatever that I have been writing and posting here. So personally I see this social media site as a dud...at least the algos and bots pay hey?
At least we have a place where we can still post without censorship. Also, I rather post here and have very few readers than on Facebook, where I have to defend my world view to people who think they know me.

Yes very true, thanks for your comment @flauwy. Here we have freedom of speech, a dying luxury in today's centralized world.

Oh man, your post makes me laugh. It is true the bots are like the new norm without engagement here and Hive. :)

Hey @chesatochi you are the rare regular commentator that I was thinking of, especially here on Steemit. It feels like a ghost ship, with the appearance of activity still, but with very few crew in sight. Kind of like the planet at the moment under lockdown. The lights are on but nobody is around.

With the next hardfork, things might not be better here but I will keep going.

Yes I just saw a message in red as I logged in now about a hard fork here on steemit. Will need to research that quickly.
