Hello the steemains. Due to the measures against the coronavirus, recreational fishing, which traditionally opens in mid-March, is prohibited, to the great despair of practitioners, which prompts me to share a last month day of fishing with you. So let's go !!
The marbled is there. It's been days since I read that on the forums, so it was time to have a fishing weekend in the Mediterranean. So here is the direction of the long beaches of Sidi Bousaid Plage.
Arrival around 5.30 p.m. and installation of 3 rods mounted in 80g, a very heavy stack and hook of 2. On the menu bibi and sandworms.
The day was beautiful and very sunny which must have heated the surface water. The wind is fairly strong from the southwest, it makes the waves and the current rise, but it is fishing. First touch after about thirty minutes, gently taken in hand, because the waves formed a step at the water / sand border. It is indeed a marble of about 500g which has been tempted.
A second marble weighing about 700g also stung and fought hard to come and run aground on the sand, the night is well settled, and the wind is calm.
Finally and to end the evening, two marbles of the same size also let themselves be caught, not without battling in the light of my headlamp.
A very good outing for marbled fishing on this last day of March....
It's dark, it's around 10 p.m., our cook is making us a good barbeuc when suddenly we are treated to heavy gusts from the North East for an hour.
