Lockdown - Drawing With Krita Part IV

Today, I received an information about a lockdown in my province. It may last for 2 weeks starting this Monday. Schools and universities are forced to move their class online. Plenty public events are also cancelled. However,a friend of mine told me her school are not in a lockdown due being located in the rural side. She told me that " perhaps villagers won't contract this virus. They don't really travel much."

I mean, she could be right. From my experience living in the suburban and village, the people have different live than the city dwellers. In times of a lockdown, they are more prepared with the emergency stockpile. Not to mention, they are not as connected as city dwellers nor heavily reliant to electricity and gas.

Lately, I have been going outside a bit way too much as my hysteria phase is over. Not to mention, I feel bored isolating myself. Except, I found out from the last one week, the panic is just starting.

Am I prepared? for the most part, I am. I have a bug-out bag if things go really awry. I live in a place with frequent natural disasters so being a prepper is not something new. Though, I don't have some expensive equipment as solar panel and solar battery.

With self-isolation, I don't really have much problem. Except lately, I have been eating various foods which slightly alter my brain on how I think about food. I normally able to eat just liquid and the same food for weeks. These days,I can't. So,it's really good time to train my brain again.

Before the lockdown happens, I am seeing shelves are still full. So, I wonder if tomorrow after the lockdown announced, it would be hard for me to find rice, pasta, eggs, and biscuits.

I also think that this situation will cause economic recession that will last for a year or two. As of now, even Indonesian rupiah are weakening and could probably recover after corona is over.

Stay safe out there. Don't forget to wash your hands. Avoid going out as much as possible. Don't touch others.

yea right! we're all in a lockdown situation

My last post might help you but I think we had this convo a year ago. This thing is just a diluted Swine flu but most aren’t prepared for such a long time indoors. Those of us who have been incarcerated have a jump on the rest of you. We already know how to ration and occupy the mind.

Suriname just closed the borders. Smart move. So many sick fucks, but also a sudden political power struggle there.
