The summer is a distinct season for the flora and fauna here. For example, deciduous trees have fully grown leaves on them for about four months in the south of the country. And August is late summer. Again, that classification is based on natural processes, weather and the behavior of animals and the stages plants are in.
Some of the bushes were budding in February this year - Spring? :)
