Ending of Chapter 1
As she waited for the over to arrive all she could do is stare at the phone containing the 300 BCH. she noticed that there was a folder right next to the BCH wallet icon. She clicked on it and notice a few more icons and her eyes immediately lit up when she recognized the first icon. It was the Bitcoin icon. She clicked on it and close her eyes as it loaded up when she opened her eyes her heart stopped beating. Suddenly she felt very lightheaded and notice the floor was coming directly at her face. Everything was happening in slow motion the only thing she could think of as she slipped into the darkness was 300 BTC.

#Chapter 1: 300 Bitcoin Cash
In a flash Victoria was standing in line at the only Tim Hortons in the entire city. If you didn’t know Tim Hortons is a Canadian coffee company that has a big foothold in WNY and Canada. They are the Canadian Dunkin Donuts with a much better taste. Victoria had some family who lived in Rochester and a couple years ago insisted that she take them to go get this magical brew. Ever since that day Victoria has been making her way to Downtown Manhattan daily for a taste of goodness.
Usually this place has a million people running around and it takes an hour to get a coffee. Not so much today. Something was off about everything today. Victoria could not remember how she had gotten to Tim Hortons. The last thing she remembered was sitting at McDonalds. Why am I not at work? Thoughts were racing in her head trying to figure out what was going on.
The lady in front of her seems to be ordering for everyone at the office. Did she just say 10 coffees? To make it worse the lady pulled out the infamous old lady coin purse. You know the one that has an endless supply of change. We have all seen the old lady at the counter counting pennies. This lady is going to take forever to count her coins! OMG I REMEMBER! BITCOIN CASH!
Victoria immediately remembered what had happened earlier. She had found a cellphone containing 300 Bitcoin Cash. Apparently, a form of digital money or whatever you want to call it. She still couldn’t remember how she arrived at Tim Hortons. I guess it doesn’t really matter when you have a quarter of a million dollars in your purse.
The lady in front was almost done penny pinching. Victoria reached in the bag to pull out her wallet. After rummaging around for a couple seconds, she noticed something very alarming. The phone she had found was no longer in her purse. She dumped everything out of her purse and on to the floor right where she stood. Everyone instantly stepped back thinking Victoria was one of those crazies you hear about on the news.
Victoria just sat there on the middle of the floor with a defeated look on her face. Her heart pounding so hard it was making her body move. Tears began rolling down her face as she cursed her bad luck. How could someone have such good luck and bad luck on the same day? She slowly and somberly started to gather her things putting them back in her purse.
“Miss”
She heard the lady, but she might as well have been a million miles away.
“Miss Miss”
Victoria just sat there with a blank look on her face almost in a trance. The world around her started to melt away in the background. The only light that remained on was the one above her head and over the annoying cashier was kept calling her.
“Miss Miss Miss”
Now everything was black. It was just her and the purse that no longer held the prized cellphone. Even the cashier faded into the abyss. She was having an outer body experience. She could see herself sitting on the floor in a puddle of misery. She was floating away and little by little she saw herself getting smaller. Now she couldn’t even see any details. Just a spec of light surrounded by darkness and that annoying cashier.
“MISS MISS CAN YOU HEAR ME WAKE UP”
Victoria opened her eyes and she saw 10 eyes staring back at her. Everyone had a confuses look on her face, but nobody was more confused than her.
“Are you okay Miss? You just passed out do you know where you are?” Asked the older gentleman.
“Yes, I am okay and I know where I am this is Tim Hortons.” Everyone immediately looked at each other with some concern.
“No sweety you are in McDonalds. Do you want us to call the ambulance?” Now there were more people crowded around her. I have to get out of here. She grabbed her purse put her phone in her pocket and stood up. She began walking to the door as everyone just glared at her with puzzled looks.
“Miss You forgot your cellphone.” Yelled one of the onlookers. She turned around to see the man holding a cellphone in his hand. A Galaxy phone. Her heart began to race again as she walked towards him.
“Thank You” She said as she grabbed the phone. Quickly she turned around and walked out of the store. While walking franticly she checked the phone again to make sure she was not dreaming this time. Sure enough, the BCH wallet still contained 300 coins!!!!
All of a sudden everything stopped once again. It was as if she couldn’t breathe. She had finally remembered everything. She remembered why she passed out in the first place. She quickly checked the phone and just like she thought there was a plain folder icon. She clicked on it and saw several different apps. The one she clicked on was the one that had the Bitcoin symbol. 300 is what she saw. Even though she was not an expert she knew that Bitcoin was worth way more than 750. She did a quick search of the price and found out one BTC was going for 6 grand. This makes me a millionaire?
She hailed down a yellow cab and jumped in the first one that stopped. “Take me to Brooklyn”. The cab was outdated and smelled like stale gym socks. Maybe this is why Uber is taking over. The cab driver seemed to be in a rush and not too concerned for the no texting and driving law.
Victoria sent Chris a text telling her that she was on her way. Deep in her gut she did not trust Chris at all, but she had no choice. She wanted to cash out the coins she just found, and she needed his help. She had absolutely no idea how any of this works. Up until today she had no idea these digital coins were even a thing. Sure, she heard Chris ramble on about it but she never took anything he said serious.
Half an hour later the cab reached Chris’s house. She hopped out of the cab and walked up to the door. Before she had a chance to ring the doorbell Chris opened up the door.
“What took you so long I have been waiting for hours?” Chris sounded pretty annoyed. As if he were losing precious time with his stupid Xbox.
“If you want, I can leave and find someone else to help me with this.” Victoria knew all too well how to put Chris in place.
“Just come upstairs hurry up.” Chris really had a hard time with being patient. They both walked up the stairs. Chris’s building was old and dark. There was never a working light in the hallway. The floors were always littered with garbage and smelled of cigarettes.
Finally, after a couple hours of nothingness she had arrived at Chris’s apartment. She walked in to find the house exactly how she had left it 6 months ago. * Is that the bowl of cereal I ate?* She thought to herself as she stared at a moldy bowl on the coffee table. It feels like she just left yesterday seeing how everything was still exactly the same.
Chris went directly to the computer and turned it on. His computer seemed to be the only thing of value in his entire apartment. He had a tower on the side of the desk with a bunch of wires and lights. Must be something that has to do with his stupid game. She looked around the room trying to find somewhere to sit finding that every chair had dirty clothes on it. Chis noticed her looking for a place to seat and with one motion cleared 30 pounds of laundry onto the floor off of the bed.
“Come sit here.” Now Chris sounded a little too excited. I guess he thought he was going to get a big reward. I’m not going to tell him about the BTC just yet. Victoria was still apprehensive about letting him know every detail.
“Let me see the phone.” He demanded instead of asking like normal people do.
“Sorry but I am not going to hand you the phone. You can just tell me what I need to do.” She said with a little bass in her voice.
“Relax I am not going to do anything crazy. Forget that. Why didn’t you give me a hug and a kiss? Come here!!” He said as he reached for her. He pulled her in close and took all of her smells deep in his nostrils. He always loved how she smelled. She tried to push him back, but her body was not listening to her brain.
She did love his scent.
“What are you doing?” Victoria asked already knowing the answer to the question. Its had been more than six months since she had any sex and her kitty was already purring.
She pulled him in closer and playfully bit his ear. He grabbed her by her waist and lifted her whole body in the air. They somehow landed on top of all the dirty laundry. He kissed her neck making his way down to her shirt. Chris started undoing her buttons as he began to kiss her soft lips. She kissed him back passionately thinking she deserved a little love. She turned her head to the left and was greeted with some smelly socks. Ok that’s it I can’t do this.
Victoria quickly pushed him off of her and sat on the couch. “We can’t do this. Let’s just do what I came here for.”
“You are so corny. Why must you always be a party pooper?” He seemed beyond upset plus his third leg was activated for no reason. “Whatever let’s just do this so I can go back to being miserable.”
“What do I need to do in order to cash this out?” Now Victoria was getting impatient.
“First of all, how much are you going to give me for helping you out?”
“I haven’t thought about that yet but don’t worry I will hook you up just show me what I need to do in order to convert this to cash.”
“Well there are several ways you can cash it out. It just depends on how much you want to actually cash out. Some exchanges put limits on how much you can transact on one day. The only place I can think of right now is Localbitcoins.com and I am not sure if you can sell BCH on there.” Now Chris seemed to be more focused at the prospect of getting paid for his services. “I think that you should move the coins to a different wallet. The owner of the phone might still have access to his private keys. All he has to do is get to them so he could move the coins from this wallet.”
“So where is the best place to download a wallet from?” Victoria asked.
“Well there are so many different places to get a wallet, but you should try bitcoin.org. They have been around the longest. Plus, they have a wallet that supports both BCH Bitcoin Cash and BTC Bitcoin Core. In case you didn’t know BCH is a fork or a branch off of BTC. A couple months ago people could not agree on what changes to make on the Bitcoin network. Some people where upset at the long transaction times and high fees. So, the chain ultimately split giving all BTC users the same amount of BCH as reflected in their wallet balance. Basically, two coins for the price of one.” Chris stated feeling like he was a genius. I can’t believe he knows all of this stuff. What planet is he from?
“Okay nice story it really is but I don’t really care. I just want to cash out and don’t care about how these people not getting along.” She snapped hoping he would just get on with it.
“Just download the wallet on your phone so we can send the coins there.” She downloaded the wallet from Bitcoin.org. When it finally downloaded it gave her a list of words called Seed Words. She did what the wallet told her to do and saved the words in a text file on her phone.
“Do you need these words in order to sell the coins?” She asked Chris as he sat there looking a little puzzled.
“Yeah send them to me in a text so I can save them.” He told her with a hint of concern in his voice. She just nodded her head and sent it to him.
“Now that you have the wallet downloaded you need to send the coins from the old phone to the new wallet. Click on receive and it will show you your new wallet address. Or you can simply scan the QR code and send it that way.” Victoria looked at him with a defeated look on his face.
“This sounds so complicated. How do you even know all of this stuff and you’re still broke?” Victoria really didn’t understand how it was possible to be smart and broke at the same time. OH well.
After about was seemed like hours Victoria finally was set up to sell her coins. Chris had shown her every site she needed including Coinbase Bitpay and LocalBitcoins. The coins were now also in her new wallet. She understood that she was not going to be able to sell the coins in one shot without tipping off the government to her ill-gotten gains. So slow and steady will win the race for her. She gathered her things and got ready to head for the door.
“Wait aren’t you going to send me a couple coins?” Chris asked with a confused look on his face.
“Yes, I will give you some money once I sell the coins. I am not going to sell any right away until I do a little more research. I might not even sell it right now. Didn’t you say this coin was at like 4 grand?” Chris seemed to be visibly upset by her statements.
“Okay that’s fine no worries. Just give me a call if you need help with anything. You should throw the phone out so you can’t be tracked” He said.
“NOO!!! She screamed as she quickly made her way out of the apartment, down the dark hallway and onto the street. Leaving Chris there with a puzzled look on his face.
After another hour she finally made it to her house. Her cat was meowing at her as if she had been gone for weeks. She must have forgotten to feed him. She checked his bowl and sure enough it was empty. She poured in some cat food and headed for the bathroom. A long hot bath is what she needed to calm her nerves but not before she smoked a few hits from her bong. The weed always calmed her down whenever she was a little anxious.
She poured herself a glass of red wine and placed in on the little table next to the bathtub. She took her clothes off exposing her round hips. Thanks momma!! She was indeed blessed with the body of a Goddess. After climbing into the tub, she reach for the wine glass to take a sip. What a day!!
She reached for her phone to try and sell a couple coins on LocalBitcoins. She had to wait until a Bitpay card arrived before she could sell any. Coinbase also had her waiting. For now, she could sell to people buying BCH on Localbitcoins or she could make a post offering to sell BCH. First, she had to send some coins over to the site in order to sell them. She opened up the BCH wallet on her phone.
0 BCH
Her Bitcoin Cash wallet was empty.
