FINALLY, OUR FIRST BLACK RAT SNAKE OF THE YEAR!

All it took was hearing the neighbors call out my name, LOL!

Some of our neighbors came upon this snake the other day. They didn't know what kind it was, and were calling out to me, hoping that I was outside across the street. Thankfully, some of my family members were outside and heard them, so they called me out and I went running. It was smaller (three feet) black rat snake, and it must have recently shed. It had a beautiful coloration and extremely shiny scales. Here's some photos of this beautiful creature.
