What brave, quick hands!!!
This was really cool to see. On our hike, the Little-Peppers spotted a nonvenomous water snake commonly referred to as either a Northern Water Snake or a Midland Water Snake (Nerodia sipedon.) We encounter them often enough and the children interact with them on a fairly regular basis. After pointing it out to me for an identification verification, Monster Truck requested permission to try to capture it. I granted him permission and he went into action. After a safe, biteless capture of this nonvenomous species, we checked it out for a bit and then released it. What a cool creature, and what a great capture by our son. Enjoy the photos!

I see the mother, well I think it is the mother because she is aware of the children, I like the part where your son asks permission to capture the snake, it is a sign that he knows that you protect him, and the girl is also strong like the boy, he dares to take her in, you give them the opportunity to let go of their fears, I think it's excellent.

Your child is very great and mentally strong, I also really like animals that live wild in nature, but not snakes, it doesn't mean I don't like snakes but I'm just afraid, even though snakes are not venomous.
