We did it!
Yesterday, we had a goal. We wanted to process fifty of our meat chickens to reduce the number that we needed to feed and to allow them to fully serve their purpose, which is being able to join us for dinner. We didn't get things started until early in the afternoon, and while it may have taken us until after dark to get finished, we did get them all processed. Some have already been sent to the freezer, while others have been canned. We've still got a cooler full of them to work through, and hopefully later tonight. It took a lot of work to accomplish what we did yesterday, but thankfully most of us have previous skill at this task, and a willing attitude goes a long way too! Here's some photos of our day. Enjoy!

Hello my friend! :D
Great pictures of a fantastic work crew in action. :D That stand to drain the chickens was a good idea. :D How did you enjoy the plucking machine? :D We've never used one, but they look like they're quite handy, especially for a large culling. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
