One Hour of SlipperyCupcake [NSFW]

This morning I spent one hour studying a Furry Artist called SlipperyCupcake, so if you like the source image I painted from -- go get yourself a commission from SlipperyCupcake here -- or invite them to share their work on Steemit.

Here's where I got after an hour of painting:

I did my best to pay attention to what colors were what -- and I was suprised that they were so rich, and dark, but that everything worked well together. I did color pick -- which is like cheating -- but maybe the information will stick with me next time anyways.

Some things I managed to capture here -- the darkest parts are not all black, but sort of a mid dark brown.

Some things I didn't manage to capture -- such epic fur textures on the shoulders.

Obviously SlipperyCupcake did some great work here, and props to them. I've done my best to absorb the secrets of their existence within 1 hour this morning -- no regrets.
