Porto Katsiki beach - Lefkada

Porto Katsiki has been one of the most beautiful beaches of Greece and the Mediterranean for years. The very name of the beach translates as "goat bay" which indicates that it has been very difficult to access it in the past. The stunning scenery that surrounds it, the sheer size of the rocks that rise right next to you from the turquoise sea and the occasional white-docked ship make it one of Lefkada's biggest attractions, and it's free to say the whole of Greece.

Porto Katsiki is not a small beach, but due to its relatively easy accessibility (no hiking or many stairs) it is very visited and during the season large crowds are created. In the heat of the season it is best to visit her early in the morning or later in the afternoon.
