It looks very nice. I'd love to have a kitchen that size. Mine is more like the cupboard under the stairs, never enough work surface and no good if you want to chat to a friend while preparing the meal.
It's a good idea to have a mini updo on some rooms, so they feel "yours" and a welcome place to come to while other parts of the house are being crowbarred (although that is also satisfying: one of the things I most enjoyed in a previous house was taking down a wall with a sledgehammer. It's not often you get the opportunity to be so wantonly destructive).
The large kitchen is a luxury for sure. In our previous apartment it was joined with the lounge, so felt larger than it was.
Cooking with friends holding a glass of wine is the way cooking should be done.
The destruction work is fun, but I am feeling it today.
