Hi Everyone
Other than doing the usual stuff at home during COVID19, I have been resorting to online shopping to get that shopping bug out of the system. Last night, I tried to browse through the Kmart site but have been greeted with an online virtual queue. I needed to wait 4 minutes before I could start browsing. This was certainly new as I have bought from Kmart 3 times the last fortnight and never been told to wait in line. Once you are allowed to go in and browse, it will play you a nice tune like giving you a nice welcome feeling. I certainly didn't appreciate the wait time to browse online, I expected to be immediate.
In real life, we have to queue for most things now to maintain social distance, but we need to do this now for online shopping? If there are too many people going onto their website during this pandemic, I suggest they upgrade their systems rather than get customers to wait. Any of you experienced something similar? Please share :)
