The pandemic causes more ruins and frustrations in my region

If only power supply in my region could become a bit stable for at least ten hours to give the frustrated masses some peace of mind and rid us of some burden whilst we utilize the opportunity online to impact our digital purse or accomplish other remote endeavors. Since the lockdown order took effect in my area, the rate of power supply has gone from bad to worst after the issue of suspending the payment of power consumption for at least two months was raised for debate in the house of assembly pending the time the pandemic gets subdued and the national economy recoups and swings back into action.

Ever since then, the rate of supply changed drastically. Right now we are only opportuned to consume only three to four hours of electricity supply in a day. The situation is so appalling because these guys only think of money and their investments since the sector became privatized. Anyways, I won't bother my readers too much on this matter as I believe this is just a temporary situation. It will surely pass away and someday, everything will just become a distant memory. But one good news that kept me smiling from yesterday down till this moment was the good news of my recovered funds that got stuck while wrongly being transferred to a hot wallet with the wrong memo. The recovery process was a bit bumpy and annoying but I was ready to pay any price attributed to the process.

In some of my previous posts, while expressing my sad experience with this issue, I did mention I needed the lost funds to refill some exhausted essentials in the house and after the recovery I did just that today. It was a great relief to both me and my family because the essential items will last us for at least the next few days. The financial hiccups caused by this lockdown has made it hard for my parents who are daily earners to discharge their full duty of family responsibilities.

What a relief cryptocurrency is one of those means that is yet to be wholly handicapped from this global crisis.

In the other news one calamity trending in different suburb regions in the states under the presidential order of full lockdown is the terror of hoodlums troubling the poor masses with their ruthless robbery attacks.

Today, these famous hoodlums were really close to my area. The trouble they caused today disturbed the peace of the public. People started running helter skelter because of their presence to rob a community five streets away from where I live.

But since the people there were aware of their coming. The small group of police officers and the youths in that community collaborated together to repel them and in that moment of clash, the incident instigated the neighboring streets into panic which affected other people in the next street right down to where I live. Causing people to panic and to run for their dear lives.

Sadly, these past few days haven't been nice at all. Some people are afflicted from the consequences of this lockdown as many fall into the daily earning category. Feeding and insecurity is one headache choking them. The philanthropists we have in our midst can't effectively reach out to everyone with their influence because it's damn impossible given the stretched geographic location and deplorable infrastructure to foster such a feat.

In these tumultuous times, areas affected by hunger and high robbery attacks barely enjoy good night sleep. Instead, they launch the operation-stay-woke initiative which requires the community to band together, arm themselves with crude tools such as machete, hoes, spade, axe, wood, iron rod. In the course of this action they gather condemned tyres and burn it at the entrance of their community signaling a warning to the perpetrators to beware and not trespass or else they face the wrath of the invigorated community members prepared in oneness to fight and resist any operation of robbery.

In my area some groups of vigilantes were employed and equipped to provide us with security. No matter what happens, I just hope this chaos doesn't crawl to the doorstep of my street in the coming days.

That will be all for today, I hope better days shine back on the whole world and I hope the current mayhem troubling the whole world fades away, never to appear again.
