Embarking on a new journey is always a daunting task, filled with unknown faces and challenges ahead, and one might never know what they might stumble upon. To face their fears and overcome obstacles, or to turn back at the sight of danger, these are the conundrums that play on our heads, challenging us to make good, bad, and sometimes questionable decisions.
I’ve known Medium for a long time, with it taking space on my phone, and on my browser’s bookmarks. Yet, I’ve never had the chance to properly acquaint myself with it. I suppose that I’ve been so inundated with other information streams, from Twitter, Feedly, or just my day-to-day life, that I’ve not explored this new medium for creativity.

Now, with Covid-19 having confined me to my quarters all day, I thought that it could be an opportune time to re-open my chapter with Medium, and to see what it’s all about, not only as a platform to discover other people’s stories, but to also share my own. After putting it off for so long, I've finally posted not one, but two articles on Medium.
I've been exploring new platforms to grow into, and finding opportunities to meet more people. Medium was one of them, and in fact, they're also one of my first choices before stumbling upon Steemit many, many moons ago. However, given my introverted nature, and having never shared my own writings so candidly before, I thought that Medium might've been too high a bar for me to tackle on the first try.
That's why I joined Steemit, because it was perfect for me at the time, as a more casual space to share anything that I have in mind, and allowing me to meet new people from around the world. For that, I thank each and every one of you, whether you're reading this on HIVE, Steemit, or Publish0x, as your support and engagement has continually helped to support me with sharing my passions.

To me, it's the give and take which makes this fun. It's not just telling your stories for others to enjoy, but also getting to read other people's experiences and journey throughout their lives. While we look out our windows to see the same blue skies and oceans, we all speak different languages, celebrate different festivities, partake in different hobbies, and practice different cultures.
This is why I branched out to Medium, as another platform for me to experience the same joy that felt here on HIVE, and Steemit. With Medium having a larger audience, I felt that it's a natural step for me in terms of writing, both as an occupation, and as an emotion. It's sort of like therapy in a sense, giving me this outlet to get everything out from my clogged brain.
The first of my Medium blogpost is an "introduce yourself " kind of article, which was something that I did when I joined Steemit. Having confidently decided that I've improved on my writing skills from about nine months ago, I made one from scratch just for Medium, telling more about myself as a person, and why I do this. I suppose I'm not so good with introductions, as it took me longer than expected just to write it out, and even more difficult to read it.

Next, it's actually a repost of something that wrote on Steempeak back in January, showing off my projections on how high Bitcoin can go following the Halving in May. I've made some slight updates on the Medium post, albeit the charts are still the originals ones. I haven't really figured out how to save stuff on TradingView, and I didn't feel like drawing it again. They're old, but they haven't detracted from equation.
It's rather silly, and it shouldn’t make sense from the perspective of technical analysis, but the conclusion seems surprisingly right on the money. It even more or less fits into the venerable Stock-to-Flow model, which has thus far been the most accurate price projection for Bitcoin, so far as I know anyways. TL;DR, my projections showed that Bitcoin will reach a post-Halving high of $144,000 by March 2022. Still though, I did this out of curiosity, and it shouldn't be considered as financial advice.

Well, that's all I have to say for today, just a quick update on my life. It would seem that there's an advantage to having been locked down at home all day. Now, I have more time to get things done, and while distractions are common enough, I've learned how to best ignore them. If you're concerned that I'm moving too much towards Medium, then worry not, as I'm still going to be just as active here, if not more.
Nothing's changed on that front, as I've been more proactive at arranging my schedules, and managing my productivity. Consequently, I've found more time to post and engage with the people of the internet, whether its on HIVE, Steemit, or Publish0x. If you're craving for some automotive content, I have one ready for tomorrow if all goes well. If you happen to have a Medium account, and you're wanting a bit more of me in your life, then follow along ;-)
