100 DAYS OF STEEM : Day 36 - Friday Challenge - 5 Things About My Country

in hive-174578 •  5 years ago

I write this article to take part in the Five Things About My Country challenge received by @steemitblog. This is the fifth challenge held to date.

Five things I know about your country

  1. Aside from cultural diversity, Indonesia also has one of the wonders of the world, Borobudur Temple. So the name Indonesia actually has been included in world literacy for a long time, one of them is of course due to Borobudur Temple.

  2. The next thing that makes me happy and proud is that this country is a beautiful country. From Sabang to Merauke, Indonesia has so much natural beauty. Just look at the beauty of the underwater park on Sabang Island, Bunaken, Raja Ampat, Bali, Lombok, Tana Toraja and hundreds of other places.

  3. Indonesia has the largest tropical forest after the Amazon. Leuser Forest is one of the world's biggest carbon donors. This means that Indonesia is so important to the world because from leuser forests, carbon is produced for the world.

  4. High foreign debt. Indonesia's debt is very large. This is certainly not healthy and can threaten the future of Indonesia. If something unexpected happens, like the current Covid-19 outbreak that has an impact on loss of income, it is quite possible that Indonesia will not be able to pay these debts. This certainly can make Indonesia become more entwined with debt.

  5. Less innovative so difficult to develop. Indonesia lags behind Malaysia and Vietnam. Even though Indonesia has also attained independence earlier. But the growth rates of these two neighboring countries were able to leave Indonesia. What's more when compared to the progress achieved by Singapore, it will look like two sides, dark and light.

Thus my writing this time. May you please.
Thanks you all

#cheers
