Having spent the greatest portion of my life in Kampala I decided to venture into a new fascinating hobby, which is traveling, not only because of curiosity but because of my passion to explore, Kampala in particular has got a variety of interesting places but my favorite is cafe javas and kingdom Kampala, because I love to hung with my friends and I love food, don't judge me!!!😂😂😂
Last year,an opportunity crossed my way,I was invited for a trip to Western Uganda, particular in kasese,as we traveled,I was taken aback by the ravishing scenery, different people with different cultures,so amazing and hospitable, beautiful sites at below is a picture of kibale recreation center.
The night at kibale National Park was creepingly soothing with the full moon and the fireflies all around with the noise of the restless crickets around the park.
The following day we toured around the primate area and saw the glorious chimpanzees of all kinds both big and small, not with standing the mighty elephants.
We saw the black and white colobus monkey,a very unique kind that left many in astonishment, Uganda is full of life nature, and beauty,no wonder it was termed the Pearl of Africa.
Don't tire for I've just started unraveling the beauty, from kibale national park,we went to the hot springs,"klwa heritage hot springs", never in my life had I beheld the sight that I did that ridiculously awesome day,it was dusk, men women, children all in undescribable harmony soaked themselves into the springs dashing with hot water from the earth,to some it is known to be a cleansing stream, to others a place for you to go and forget all your worries.
Klwa heritage hot springs.
Not only the international tourists but also the natizens take pride in the springs.
Setting that aside we saw river Nyamwamba, the people in kasese depend on it for avariety of activities like washing,we saw natives wasing clothes along the river banks, how astonishhing!!
Personally I made new friends in kasese who showed me different interesting places, told me allot about their cultures.
My trip to kasese unravelled alot of things that personally I had never seen and was overwhelmed with Joy to see and learn, looking forward to exploring greater horizons, learn as much as I can.
All I have shared with you is basically what makes kasese (Western Uganda),my wounder land.Below is a picture of my friends and I at River Nyamwamba.
What an interesting trip and such an exciting place you went to. I remember having my first sight and learning of hot springs at Kitagata during the Geography trip we had by then.
Indeed Uganda is the pearl of Africa having a variety of wild animals like Elephants, Baboons, monkeys etc. It's always good to take off some time and appreciate the animal kingdom.
Thanks for taking part in the contest. I wish you all the best.
