Hello steemians, let's have a talk about the silent toture that the under age are going through... well most of us are not really paying attention to whats happening in the under aged generation in Uganda... mostly this has been brought about by our primitive culture, poverty, uncensored population, careless people of authority...and much more, we are forgetting that this is surely going to affect our country's future ...we care less saying that it's not my child or not my relative forgetting that what goes around comes back round... whether you believe it or not this will effect your well educated,cared for child because these are the people he or she is going to deal with in the future... Well let's start with the sexual harrasment ... under this let's talk about defilement, rape..etc these mentioned above has led to early pregnancy... school drop outs which has caused low developments in Uganda. These kids give birth to kids that they can't even support because they are kids themselves.. arrogant about how to raise a child, a side from the arrogancy their also diseases that come along... like fisitula this has spoilt alot of Ugandan child's life...all the responsibilities of caring for the kid ... hustling to raise them yet you also need to be raised.. like this kid.
The next thing we need to talk about is child labour , where kids are forced to do heavy works just to find something to eat and earn a living... this has caused alot of bone related diseases and failure in growth due to alot of weight put on their bodies...if at least kids do some light work like washing utensils... but these kids work in heavy and tiresome places like digging up stones in quarries , carrying soil in mines and many more heavy jobs... like this...
this effects their grown and take away their freedom to live as a child...as us the concerned people let's at least work together and fight this.... let's sensitise people about the need to for child rights and the need to protect the next generation... this calls for everyone's effort don't say that it's not my concern because this will effect both my and your children in the future...we can do this... love can change the world... thanks for allowing me to share this with you and all the support... until next time 😉.
