The diary game/ Better life/ 27th December 2021 My friend's wedding

Good evening team uganda!
I woke up in a very good mood today as it is the day that the lord made for my friend Georgina to join the league of the marrieds. I woke up early because i had to get ready and attend the church service at 10am. So after breakfast, i quickly passed by the salon and fixed my hair and got a boda to the chapel. The marriage ceremony was at the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, kololo ward. I got there at 10.30am and the bride was already there, getting ready to get in, so i was just on time.

Church then commenced. We had beautiful music from the choir. We also had 3 different speakers talking about marriage. They all emphasized effort in a marriage from both the man and woman. They also emphasized that a couple should keep dating each other, hanging out, taking walks, even after marriage.
Then the couple said their vows and exchanged rings. Church service was done and the pictures commenced.

We then headed to the kabowa stake centre for the reception.

The bride, groom and their team arrived and we immediately got served food. I usually don't enjoy food at functions, i don't even know why. But the food today was so tasty 😋

After food, speeches went on. After those, the bridal team went and changed their outfits.

The bride and groom then cut the cake. The cake was served with ice cream. After that, they received their gifts and the wedding was closed with a prayer.
As i was there contemplating how i was going to get home, a friend told me he had ordered Uber and we stay in the same area. So i rode with him and his wife and am home, safe and sound.
