MUBS DECIDES "AGAIN"

Towards the ends of last year, MUBS held elections for guild presidency but unfortunately, they were cancelled after the NRM camp stole the ballot box and ran away with it. Well, today is the day we decide once more who will seat in the presidential seat of Makerere University Business School. And of course my candidate is Kiyega Edward Rogers of the green camp.

I made my way to campus today morning to cast my vote and students had already tunes up.

This time, we have alot of security as they want these elections to be peaceful. They brought arm guys and even red top is present. And if you see red top, just know that things are very serious.

I cast my vote and went to talk to students to encourage them to come and vote. That took almost all day. At around 3:10, the campaign team went to pick the guild president to come and vote. It was a whole vibe.

After picking him, we first went to the Catholic church to pray for the votes. We prayed and then escorted him to the pitch where he proceeded to vote for himself.

At exactly 4pm, voting was closed and the EC prepared to count the votes. I, my friend Faith, Kiyega and his PA Mutoni then went back to church to pray.

At around 6 something, we started getting phone calls that Kiyega had passed through. We were all so happy and thankful to God for the victory. So we left church and joined the other voters in celebrations.

I cannot be more thankful for how today went. All the glory and honor goes back to God.😇😇😇
