The most exciting place I have been to in Uganda

There are so many places that one can go to have a good time and relax but what tops all of them for me is a place that serves a good meal... Not the fries and KFC but actual food. After all, a good meal goes a long way.
So I and my friends have a tradition of going for a trip to some place every end of school semester. We are not big clubers or house party goers so these trips are our way of celebrating life and friendship. We mostly do it to brush off the hung over from books😃😃.

So before the second lockdown, we decided to go food hunting. Not the actually hunting with the bow and arrow😅... Am talking about moving from restaurant to restaurant lookin for that one meal that hits the spot.
My friends and i have one thing in common...we are all foodies.🌭🍕🍟🍔. Present us with a good meal and you will have made our day. The straight road to our stomachs is through our stomachs and we are not ashamed of it😊.

So the most exciting place I've been to is capital kitchen. I have been to a number of restaurants but the most annoying thing is the food.🤦 You enter a place and it has such a beautiful setting, the decor is stunning, the waitors are smartly dressed and all these things raise your expectations to like 💯😅...then the food is served and once you taste it the mood just goes down to 0%😥. The irony😅😅.

When I entered capital kitchen that is what happened except for the last part. I had already heard some good reviews about the place but you know....Africans believe by seeing. One of the things that impressed me with capital kitchen is that they have a self service system. So what you do is pay and get your coupon which you present at the serving point and then proceed with your business. And apparently, one can go for round two🍜. Not to mention, it's very affordable..just amazing.

We paid and proceeded to serve...to be honest I didn't have high expectations but OMG😯 once I tasted the food my taste buds were jumping up and down in pure joy. I remember that it was there that I ate a burger 🍔 for the first time. And what do I tell you? It was finger-licking good.
They serve a variety of dishes both local and Continental. I had such a lovely meal that I couldn't stand for some good time. I would have gone for round two🤣but I was so satisfied.

My girlfriends☝️ are huge eaters just like me😅

After the meal we had desert which was ice cream and cake🍨🍰...a superb finish. I still have not found a place that has topped my food experience at capital kitchen. Any recommendations?💁
And I mean real food, not junk😊
