I am sharing the lyrics to this song because I love it and it is quite uplifting. I am going to attach the meanings I get from the song per verse amd the chorus.

Verse 1

You don’t have to be afraid of who you are,

This verse inspires me and tells me to look for who I am not from the outside but the inside. To get meaning of whatever is connected to me from within me. It tells me that when I find that true self, I should not be afraid to be that. I should not fear to be my true self. That I should not doubt myself in any way.

Chorus
And when a hero comes along,
With the strength to carry on,
And you cast your fears aside,
And you know, you can’t survive,
When you feel all hope is gone,
Look inside you and be strong,
And you finally see the truth,
That he hero lies in you.

The chorus signifies to me help that comes at the time when we need it. We should not refuse such help rather we should embrace it. Help can be physical, spiritual etc but it sometimes we all need this help to open our eyes to the way we are supposed to go. Sometimes we know the way but are scared and we may need that extra push and nudge or even assurance that we are not alone.

Verse 2
It’s long road,
When you face the world alone,
No one reaches a hand,
For you to hold,
You can find love,
If you reach you reach into self,
And the emptiness you felt,
Will disappear.

Much as we want help and company along this life sometimes, some journies are so personal that we have to walk them alone because any extra weight may either make us lose focus or be a burden. On such journies we need help from above like God or whatever you believe in because in there you find comfort and strength to make such journies.

Bridge
The Lord knows, dreams are hard to follow,
But don’t let anyone take them away,
Just hold on, there will be tomorrow,
And in time, you’II find away

Truthfully, this bridge to me refers to dreams or any goals you may have. It tells me not to give up but hold on till that amazing moment when I will yield results.
