FEELING STUCK?!

Good morning people. Hope you are all well.

Sometimes you feel like you are stagnated. You feel like things are a bit too routine and the novelty is wearing off. Other times you feel like it is time to change because you cannot continue living the life you are currently living. It frustrates sometimes but you tell yourself maybe the next will be better and you find it is a continuous cycle of going back and forth and no particular solution is being reached.

You may feel like you are stuck in a place where you feel like life is passing you by. You feel like everyone around has a sense of direction but you are scrambling to put your compass right.
In such instances, you have to ask yourself, Am I in the right place? I am interacting with the right people?, What do I feed my mind? I am doing the right thing? You find that when you answer these questions and you are really honest with yourself, you find that what causes these feelings of being stuck is the fact that you are doing the right thing for you, or you are constantly in an environment that is not building you.

Some of the small steps you can take when you are feeling stuck can be; traveling because this can open your mind to different cultures and ways of life that make you realize that maybe you desire to stay in other parts of the world instead of where you are living. Interacting with new people, it is okay to have close friends but you always have to talk to new people whom you can learn from as various people have different ideologies which you can learn from.

Knowing what is causing you to feel stuck can be of immense help because you know what to work on. You may find it is comparison causing you to feel that way, other times you are just stuck with people that are constantly draining your energy or you find you stuck in a career you absolutely abhor and you desire a change but may not know how to go about it.
Other times you may find that you are just being a little impatient with results especially where you are pursuing something. Here you just have to celebrate all your small wins to remind of how far you have come.

Switching up your routine can help return the excitement to do certain activities like if you normally jog for exercise and you find that it is starting to bore you, then you can try out things like walking, swimming or even dancing to make you look forward to exercising. Simple activities like gratitude, journaling can help in the sense that you no longer concentrate on the feelings of being stuck but you appreciate what is around you.

I totally agree with u. Sometimes it is not that you are not progressing but rather that you want things to move at an extraordinary speed. We need to understand that things take time and we need to be patient.
