TRAVEL !!

I would define travel as the movement to places you have never been to.

Travelling is good because it opens our minds. It is one of the fastest ways to learn about other people and their cultures. When you travel you interact first hand with people and things you have never dealt with. This pushes the boundaries of the mind as something new is learned.

Travel is also fun because people travel with the mentality to relax and leave their baggage and worries behind and live to the maximum for those days that they have travelled. Definitely people travel for different reasons; some for work, other for visits and recreation purposes among others.

People who travel for work normally have limited time to explore however one can use the different breaks they have in between work engagements to visit some places.

I know travel is a bit limited because we are in a pandemic and it may be considered a luxury than a necessity right now, however it does not have to be limited to going out of the country.

There are many lovely places where one can go; a simple walk around the neighborhood to paths one has not yet explored before, visiting a friend and spending a few days at their place can be ways one can try to fill up the gap for travel and cut the monotony of staying in the same place.

If one is unable to move one can watch documentaries about various places around the world especially those one has wanted to travel to. Movies are also a great way to travel without moving physically as they explore lives in various cities.

Youtube is a great place to find travel vlogs that are very specific to certain places as people film their lives and show activities in places where they are living at that particular moment.

This a YouTuber whose vlogs are mainly centred around NewYork, so if you have a desire to travel to NewYork you can watch her videos.

If you are the kind of person that feels they absolutely need to travel out of home, one can start with the places around; like staying at hotels as that can give you a different feel from the home environment. This can even prove cheaper and also can give parents some alone time to.

Traveling within Uganda can be an option like to National parks if one has the means as that will enable one appreciate the beauty of their country and funny thing is one can learn a lot by just going to a different district in Uganda which they have never been to.

Much as we are under lockdown let us allow our minds to travel. Reading books can also help with that. Therefore we can use this time to actually figure out all the places we want to go to. And start figuring a way Or plan on how we can make sure we visit the places we want to go to.
