Cut the greed. Nothing satisfies a human heart

Its good to live and enjoy your life to the maximum as much as you can. As human beings, we crave for so many pleasurable things in this world. Too much of anything is bad. Its therefore, important at some point to pause for a moment and reflect upon your life. Analyse your life. When you do so, you realize the need to regulate the greed that often times consumes your heart.

Greed can breed problems in your life. We see the greed for power in the governments where someone is not willing to step down from their position to give room for others to also exercise their leadership skills. Such a greedy person can even go ahead by sabotaging and killing his opponents for the sake of maintaining his position.

With time, such an unregulated greed for power makes you lose reputation because of the anger that amounts in the hearts of people because of your dictatorship and unfair character exhibited in your leadership.

This is part of the reason we see a lot of riots in the different nations where the angry mob of people demonstrate against the existing government because of the unfairness in their leadership. What's the point? lead for some time then give others the opportunity to step into your position in order for them to bring up fresh new ideas of how best to govern the people.

In the financial world, greed can make you losses. For example, when a trade is in profits and you still want to keep holding onto your position for more profits. Such a trade can reverse into the opposite undesired direction and make you losses.

In conclusion, it's good to crave for more money, cars, mansions, influence but too much of it which is called "greed" can get you into trouble. Therefore it's important to regulate the greed for gain in your life.

These are random thoughts for my personal growth. Most of them are based on my personal life experience. You may want to pick something out of them for the growth and betterment of your life.
