Knowledge is Power 🔌 🔋- Charge yourself up

Plenty of wealth is hidden in write-ups(books). In this life, If you desire to rise up to a better life, you've got to fall in love with reading. You need to Cultivate a serious good reading culture. It's not an easy task but with determination and full dedication, it eventually becomes your lifestyle. Somewhat like breathing in and out.

In Africa, we have a poor reading culture as opposed to that of the western culture. There is a common saying that runs like "if you want to hide something from an African, put it in writing" hehe... 😁 that's true. But we can change that by doing the needful. It is a personal responsibility to dive into lot's of relevant books in search of valuable knowledge that can liberate and heal your mind from the ignorance disease.

Dedicate at least 2hours to reading on a daily basis. Trust me that would make a huge difference in your life. Your thinking and response to the different circumstances of life will dramatically change.

I am not saying that you should read aimlessly whatever article you come across. Have a plan. What are your interests. Capitalize on an area/topic that you would love to grow your knowledge on. Then go ahead to research on anything in line with that topic and area of interest. As you read ask your self questions and check yourself on whether you can respond to them in a very satisfying manner. Can you explain/present or share the knowledge you have acquired with someone else?

That ushers in the element of writing down whatever knowledge you have attained in your research and extensive reading. Keeping other factors constant, I strongly believe that "good readers are always good writers". The plenty of ideas picked up during the course of your reading propels you to write quality essays like never before.

It's hard to forget something you have written down and that's why people grow in knowledge and become experts in certain fields of study. They have authored plenty of books 📚 with most of the information coming from critical thinking 💭.

The world we live is a very competitive world, if you do not help yourself by dedicating your time and effort to personal development, you will be left out. That would in other words imply incompetence and hence result in missing out on many opportunities.

Personally, i want to build a good reading culture as i keep improving on my writing skills with an all time life goal of becoming an expert in the area of crypto and blockchain technology.
