Hi everyone, something exciting just happened. Facebook has open sourced it's times series forecasting tool called NeuralProphet that uses ML/AI . For the uninitiated, developing these tools takes some of the smartest individuals in tech, considerable amount of their time and hence millions of dollars in investments. This means that when companies like the FAANGs (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google) release ML/AI freebies to the market place, every budding ML/AI enthusiast should take notice and dive in - did I hear someone say thank you:-)
An example of a time series is the financial time series and the nexus of ML/AI with finance is what I write about. Clearly, NeuralProphet may be used to forecast financial time series and I can't wait to lay my hands on it to see what it can do for my algorithmic trading adventures.
As some of you know, I've been doing a series on how to trade the markets algorithmically using ML/AI (I've been under the radar on this lately due to another project I've been working on which is wrapping soon and can't wait to get back to the series) and I'll make sure to include using NeuralProphet in future installments of the series.

For those who do not know, GitHub is an excellent platform where people host open source code and can be an incredible resource for your ML/AI endeavors (may do a post sometime on how to use GitHub).
