Regarding the leading role of local development in the face of globalization, the need arises for decentralization of political decisions, the use of resources and regional comparative advantages, for which it is important that organizations collaborate jointly with communities in solving local or regional problems.

In accordance with the above, companies that do not incorporate administrative structures for local development do not carry out activities jointly with the communities for their development, therefore, it can be inferred that they do not comply with this ethical criterion of collaborating with local and/or regional development.

Among the alternatives of linkage for local development is education, in this sense, organizations have two types of articulation, the alternation and the school-company associations, therefore, organizations can develop educational assistance programs in the communities, such as scholarships.

Therefore, business actions refer to the economic influence that the company has on local development, such as its impact on suppliers, contractors and customers. From this point of view, the company can develop some strategies that integrate it with its suppliers, so that they acquire certain types of commitments with the communities.
