The cyclone that fortunately did not arrive, a few hours ago the Venezuelan climatological institute announced the arrival to all the coasts of the country of a cycle with gusts of powerful winds, rain and thunderstorms, giving this news to a country that does not know what a cyclone is because it has experienced it very few times and very partially, and to a country that feels helpless in terms of disasters or education in case of contingency. Secure doors and windows and roofs? How do you secure a roof that is easily lifted by the wind, without spending a whole week's worth of food that you have hardly earned.
According to the dictionary definition of the Americas: a cyclone is an infrequent concentration of clouds revolving around a center of low atmospheric pressure, whose merging winds rotate counterclockwise at high speeds. Its main damages are caused by rain, wind, waves and storm surge. Paradoxically Venezuela has several years submerged in a so-called economic cyclone, which this one if passed, the estimates of the investigating agencies of the Venezuelan economy suggest that in 2019 the economic activity plummeted 26% in 2019 and 25.3% in 2020, respectively, with which the stored loss of the production of goods and services in 2022 with respect to 2015 exceeds 75%. This decrease in the volume of the economy is manifested in a significant increase in poverty and a decrease in the income Venezuelans have, which only supplies basic needs.
Similarly, a social cyclone pushed almost 5 million people to leave the country and formed the largest migratory flow in Latin America in the last 40 years. With the highest inflation in the world and a worthless, fully dollarized currency, the daily life of Venezuelans has become complex. The wind cyclone veered into the Caribbean Sea before reaching Venezuelan shores and adding more tastelessness to Venezuela's already contracted economy, and to Venezuela's coexistence. If we could put a name to this hurricane phenomenon we would call it 21st century socialism.
Greetings @aplausos the last months have been disastrous and fatal for many regions of our country, hence we thank God because this cyclone lost strength before reaching our regions because we could not glimpse what would be the consequences of it.
Greetings...

Greetings @applause, fortunately that phenomenon meteorological did not succumb in Venezuelan lands, despite such predictions, dezconosco the truthfulness of information by the meteorological institute, but what is true is that with all the environmental imbalance, You’ve seen climate disasters in places you never thought of.
Nature is unpredictable, I hope not to see more news of this indole. So long, have a great week.

Hello @aplausos, The analogy that you make between the cyclone that we expected and the economic situation that Venezuela has been dragging on for several years is quite appropriate, but in the case that the entire country has already developed "survival skills" in the midst of so much crisis, this is good because it must to survive in some way, but it is bad on the other hand because it creates custom and it is not possible to get out of this crisis definitively because there is no palpable collective social reaction.

I agree with you, several cyclones have happened to us and if we wait for a natural one that can put us in a worse situation nobody is surprised, and as the president said, they assumed it as another lie, what a paradox, greetings and thank you for commenting.

Hi, friend .
I very much agree with you, thank God, the cyclone never came, it was left alone in an announcement, but we must always be prepared, nature always gives us surprises, they are ways of complaining about the mismanagement of natural resources.
Cheers
