Who are the people behind Polkadot?
Before we talk about the technology let us first take a look at the people behind the said crypto. Mainly, the 3 founding members who serve as the backbone of its development.
First is Dr. Gavin Wood, he is a co-founder of Ethereum and also its Chief Technical Officer. President of the Web3.0 Foundation a word he coined back in 2014.
Next is Robert Habermeier, co-founder of Polkadot, a Thiel Fellow and long time member of Rust community. He has a rich background in research and development in blockchains, distributed systems, and cryptography.
And last but not the least, Peter Czaban, has Masters of Engineering degree at the University of Oxford, reading Engineering Science where he focused on Bayesian Machine Learning. He has worked across defense, finance, and data analytics industries, working on mesh networks, distributed knowledge bases, quantitative pricing models, machine learning, and business development.
What is Polkadot?
Now that we know the people behind it. Let us see what the platform is all about. It aims to be a network protocol that allows arbitrary data—not just tokens—to be transferred across blockchains. In short, an Ethereum competitor. From their website you can see that it has the capability to match if not surpass Ethereum's technology. It promises to have better stability, interoperability, and security.
From an enthusiast's point of view, this can be a good value for money where you can buy its tokens early. Do your own research though, a good and educated decision can always be achieved as you take time to read and watch some videos about it.
Here is a YouTube video from a popular crypto YouTuber Bitboy to have at least an introduction to what it's all about.
"Polkadot" looks like a technology which have a great potential ahead looking at it.

It is appreciated that it is a quite compromising and interesting project towards a future new technologies to apply every day since its main objective is to be a network protocol that allows arbitrary data to be transferred through blockchains, this will allow more stability at the time of its use. We hope that this will happen in the not too distant future. Greetings friend
