Play to earn on Splinterlands: Turn gaming into income

On the surface, $10 per day isn't much money. Multiplied by one year and you're getting $3650 per year and that's really not a lot of money.

When you think about it from the fact that you're earning from simply playing a game though, I think that's quite a lot of money. It must be said that I'm not even one of the high rollers in Splinterlands and I bet people in higher leagues make more DEC than me.

Also, I need to add that I'm not even as consistent as I could be. I attempt like 30 battles a day and earn that much.

I already have a standard strategy that I employ for various types of battles, so it takes me like 1 minute to set up my team.

So, in a way, you could say that I earn $10 from playing Splinterlands for only 30 minutes. Again, it's not life-changing money but I reckon that's still quite a lot to earn from gaming.

In the past week, I spend like 5 or 6 hours on my PlayStation, and I haven't earned shit from it. In fact, the game costs me money, and so it's refreshing to actually earn from just playing a game.

It's Chaos I tell you

The presale of Chaos legion packs is just around the corner. A little bit closer to the day, scheduled around the 16th I believe, we'll be seeing a lot more SPS staking than we do now.

It's hard not to be feeling bullish right now. All the signs show that the release of Chaos legion will lead to another season of plenty within Splinterlands.

How's your season going?

Right now, I've hit my peak league of Gold 1, so I'll just be battling to rise up the internal ranking in Gold. The last time I checked, I was in the 400s and that's not good enough.

The best I've ever been able to achieve is 120 position in gold league and that lasted like 10 seconds. When I reach my peak destination, that's a success but the icing on top of the cake would be to break into the top 100 in Gold league.

Getting to my peak league as fast as possible is also good for my daily quest rewards. Since I started playing Splinterlands, I don't think I've missed up to five days of daily quest.

Doing the quest has become an integral part of my life and I feel weird whenever I don't do it. Funny enough, it's not like the rewards are moth watering, for me, it's all about the principle of it. I just have to complete my daily quest, even on my wedding day.

So what about you, do you have any expectations for this season? Have you been consistent and how have your rewards been so far?
