Starting a business without a definite reason to why the business is going to exist means that the business is going to die. The essence of any business is to solve problem, Facebook is solving communication and social interaction, Google is solving easing access to data through searches, Microsoft brought out OS for personal computers making it easy for everyone to interact with PC easily, Walmart is solving easy access to cheep goods, Amazon is solving fast delivery on any product around the world, Dominos is solving the problem of late meal delivery by getting Pizza to the customers faster than expected.
Why do you have to Solve Problem
In business, either new or existing, identifying problems is the only a business has a purpose and solving it is the only way a business will achieve its purpose. If you do not have a reason to create a business, then do not go into business at all. First, go through your business model, what will you be solving to get paid for? It is called potential difference. The Difference between a successful business and an unsuccessful one is problem solving. The ability to trace a problem for customers and identify a solution is what makes your business have an edge over other businesses.
Encountering Problems in Business
What do you advice to be done with a business which starts to see low revenue as well as low patronage from customers? Every business has problems even after the business have been created, this problem could be as of managerial incompetence, employees not functioning as they should and so on. The best thing to do is to find a solution to the problem rather than start to panic. Panic has always chased customers away, not bring them closer but solving problems effectively is important for any business either a startup or a big corporation.
Never forget to use the Why, How, Where, When, and What when starting a business as well as when trying to solve a problem. Why should you create a business, How should you create it, Where should you create a business, When should the business be created, what will be the ideal outcome of the business when you start. This same thing goes for solving internal problem in companies.
