Greetings to all my dear and appreciated readers of this valuable community, today I will share with you a relevant news for users of Internet service (ABA) offered by CANTV in Venezuela, the Internet in recent years has become a necessity for the technological world in which we live at the present time.

As we all know the internet is one of the most used and demanded technological tools nowadays, this is due to the fact that everything we do is practically linked to the internet, from the simplest things like doing research and banking operations to something much more complex like managing and operating large companies and consortiums. Undoubtedly, this tool has ceased to be a luxury and has become one of the most fundamental needs that any citizen may have.

In Venezuela the main Internet service provider is the Compañía Anónima Nacional Teléfonos de Venezuela (CANTV) which offers telephone and Internet service to more than 80% of the population, in the same way we must mention that there are other companies that offer this service, but its high cost prevents it from being hired so the main option is CANTV who offers this service with very affordable plans for the population, this company is dependent on the Venezuelan State and due to the situation that the country is going through is very abandoned and the service it offers is very poor.

This Thursday, January 6, there was a failure in the Internet service in several states of the country, which undoubtedly affected the operations of many users and companies. A total of 13 of the 22 states were left without Internet service, the affected states were Mérida, Aragua, Táchira, Trujillo, Caracas, Nueva Esparta, Falcón, Portuguesa, Miranda, Anzoátegui, Carabobo, Zulia, Apure and Bolívar. Users of this important service also expressed and denounced the service interruption through the main social networks.

The Compañía Anónima Nacional Teléfonos de Venezuela (CANTV) has not disclosed the incident that caused the failure, even they have not made public the failure presented, this situation is very delicate because this important service such as the internet moves more than 90% of the banking and production operations of the country without counting those made by individuals and/or independent users, let's hope that this situation does not happen again and that on the contrary they decide to improve the service.

hello @carlir,
in venezuela we are living a process of dollarization in which services will be divided, on the one hand there are the services that are offered in local currency (these services are of low quality) and the services that you can pay for in dollars (better quality services). i believe that all this situation does is widen the gap between the poor and the rich in the country.

Greetings @carlir
As well as the internet are many public services in the country, unfortunately for lack of maintenance and supplies. In addition to the rents of the services that are not enough to be able to self-finance. Skilled labor is also needed, because many do not know well what they do.
