Greetings to all my dear readers and followers of this valuable community, today I will not publish on topics related to technology, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, among other topics that I usually publish, this time I will share with you my wishes for the upcoming Christmas that I hope I can fulfill, although there is a special wish that I know that can not be fulfilled but I will share it with you anyway.
As we all know Christmas is a time to share with family and enjoy our loved ones, it is a time when we analyze what we have lived during the whole year and plan for the new year that will begin. Undoubtedly these dates bring us sad and happy memories that we will never forget, but the most important thing is to always thank GOD for being able to enjoy another year with our loved ones.
At Christmas time in our country Venezuela it is customary to make a dinner to share, the preparation of this dinner is usually done in family, everyone gathers in one place and begin to prepare the rich hallacas, baked pork leg, ham bread, chicken salad and traditional sweets of each region. In Venezuela we have been having a very difficult Christmas for several years due to the economic problems the country is going through.

But this situation that we are living does not bother us and with many sacrifices we always try to make the Christmas dinner and share it with the family, what I like most about these Christmas dates is that we all get together as a family, my mother, my brothers, my nephews, my wife and children and we share making the Christmas dinner and waiting for the child GOD to bring gifts to our children, that special moment is priceless to see the happiness of our children with their gifts.
This Christmas my most longed desire is to be able to share with my brother, because it has been more than 4 years without seeing him and without being able to give him a big hug, the distance marks different paths between us but we have always remained united, this year was very hard for me because the accident that my brother suffered and in which almost cost him his life has left me marked and that is why this Christmas my desire is to share with him and tell him how much I love him and that despite the difficulties he is not alone. I want to make a stop and publicly thank @crypto.piotr and @josevas217 for the financial help they gave me to cover my brother's medical expenses.
In the same way I wish that all the people in the world who have lost a loved one product of this terrible pandemic that strikes us, can find in GOD that strength needed to endure such irreparable loss, Christmas brings us hard memories but at the same time fills us with hope to move forward with our loved ones, my greatest wish and I can not fulfill is to see my father again, because it has been more than 22 years since his death, but my memory and affection for him are intact, I will never forget you FATHER.
If for us the Christmas of the last years, have a tinge of sadness, scarcity, shortages, loneliness but it is up to each one of us little by little to rescue those traditions that we have left aside these years and long for the embrace of those who have gone.

Greetings @joseph1956, certainly our Christmas is hard because of the political, social and economic moment that our country is living, but we always look for a way to be able to at least share a nice moment with our family in these dates.

one of the best time in the year to start gatheribng up your christmas wishe. Though in my country the christmas might not go as well as many people planned because of the country ecnonmy hardship that happens this year but nevertheless it will still be a christmas worth remembering

Upcoming Christmas will surely be very strange and unpredictable. Especially since this new strain of Covid virus seem to be an excuse for most goverments to introduce strict lockdowns and enforce people to stay home. It's sad and miserable solution, which proved not to work till now. And it seem to be repeated again.
Are you very religious? I wonder how do manage to believe in God, while living in country which suffer so much. I would ask myself every single day: why is God so cruel to allow it all to happen. Where is his love and mercy?

I'm happily in Malaysia, where it's warm and cosy. I love experiencing snow for a day or two, but feeling cold longer than that is a BIG NO GO for me :)
