Greetings my dear readers and followers of this prestigious community, following my cycle of presentations of articles of technological interest today I will enter the world of technology that is being presented in the current Olympic Games being held in Japan.

Technology continues to bring great benefits in all areas where it is immersed, this time I touched the sport and not a specific sport because this time the technology is presented in almost all sports that are being developed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games being held in Japan, although it is true that technology is already present in many sports in these Olympic Games premieres in many other sports and with a high technological level. This will allow spectators to be able to observe things that cannot be observed being present in the stadiums where the competitions take place.

New technologies are being implemented with greater force due to the small number of people in the stands because of the COVID pandemic.19, Among the technologies that are already being applied in some sports already known is Tennis where the technology called Hawk Eye is used, which helps judges to determine more accurately whether a ball was in or out, in baseball it is presented with instant replay which allows to determine very controversial plays, in soccer with VAR, which lets you know if a ball crossed the goal line, if a player committed a foul, among many others.

One of the new technologies that are being applied is in Archery and is called "Direct to the Heart", this technology allows to see in real time the heartbeat and the adrenaline load experienced by the athletes of this discipline, in the same way in speed competitions "Volumetric" this technology will allow the public to visualize the speed that each athlete is experiencing in their respective competition.

Undoubtedly, technology plays a fundamental role in all areas of our lives, including sports, which is why the organizers of the Olympic Games have taken on the task of offering spectators all the benefits it offers in each sport where it is immersed and to see things that the human eye can not see with the naked eye.

Hello friend @carlir

It is truly impressive, the dizzying progress that year after year is achieved in technology, the implemented in tennis and soccer I had already heard, now this technology you mention name "Direct to the Heart" implemented in the game Archery did not know, thanks for socializing this kind of fresh and accessible content.

Best regards, be well.

Greetings friend @lupafilotaxia, certainly these advances that are achieved years after years are of great relevance to the sport because it is to do a little justice for the unintentional errors of the judges of each sport.

Wow. that technology applied in games and specifically in those sports you are mentioning, I even saw other uses, for example for home security, well actually I think for other areas in food production.
Well that came to my mind when I read this publication.

In other news, today Venezuela won a medal in weightlifting.

Greetings @lanzjoseg, if technology is applied in many areas in home security has been implemented a lot, there are houses that with the voice of the owner deactivates the alarms. In sports look more for justice of those erroneous decisions of the judges.

I love watching the Olympics, and in these games there is always some technological innovation, sports have benefited a lot from these tools, especially to review the plays very difficult to appreciate even by the trained eye of the referees.

Hello friend @carlir.

A great article that you share with us, no doubt that technology is in any part of our existence and here is a great example of this, where it is necessary to highlight what you express very well:

One of the new technologies that are being applied is in Archery and it is called "Direct to the Heart", this technology allows to see in real time the heartbeat and the adrenaline charge experienced by the athletes of this discipline, likewise in speed. Volumetric" competitions, this technology will allow the public to visualize the speed that each athlete is experiencing in their respective competition.

Extraordinary technological applications that allow us to enjoy even more of these sports disciplines, thanks for sharing such interesting content. Greetings and many successes.

Hi friend @carlir I guess this will look very good as data on screen when the olympic games are being televised. thanks for bringing us this interesting data my friend.

Greetings @rubenp, yes there will be times when TV stations will be able to appreciate these technological advances and therefore viewers will be able to enjoy these wonders.

As we are moving towards the new age we are making new and advanced in the field wheather it's in game or sports. This gps tracker technology will give accurate data regarding the race. And help in more advanced analytics for the game.

Technology is taking a huge part in sports and I actually like that since it's the best judge or at least allows the best judgments to be made, I was expecting to see some of those new technologies in the Olympic games which made the games fairer for everyone.

Also one of the technologies that I noticed is the sensor on taekwondo players' bodies, which helps the referee spot the hit areas and based it on count the points for the players.

Thanks for sharing!
