The aim of working for long hours and people practicing what they do tirelessly - is so that they can gain an intuitive feel for their work. This is the feeling of your work at your finger tip, and an understanding that becomes instinctive.
This is what humans are designed for, if people allow themselves stick to one line of action, and have a direction in life. When you see people who choose a career path earlier in life, and stayed true to it for many years - they tend to gain higher levels of intuition.
Becoming more intuitive in what you do isn't a day job. It takes a while to master each step of your work, process by process; and finally internalize it all, such that it becomes hard wired in you. Hence, when it's time to perform, you perform without thinking about the steps.
This ability of utilizing your intuition can make you complete your work in faster time - hence, you start functioning way faster that others, who still depend on their thinking during the work. But the price to pay, is an enormous amount of time practicing and working.
Many great people say that it will take about 10,000 hours of working and practicing your skills, before you can gain an intuitive feel for your work. But with the incredible speed and superhuman accuracy that comes with it - it's very much worth all the long hours of practice.
Most people don't realize that becoming intuitive, takes lots of time and efforts. Intuition is the reward for those efforts. Thanks for posting.
