Most times, when you've made up your mind, or you've made a decision to do something; the reason why you don't take action, and actually do it, is usually because you got distracted. Too many times, you delay taking that action right away.
If you're not someone who moves straight to the action, and get the job done; then life will be mostly difficult for you. Because any second or minute you spend not executing a plan, is further distracting and demotivating you from taking action.
When you examine the lives of high performing people, the common trait they have is speed of action. They may be a little slow on decision making. But when they've decided, they take action swiftly. For them, there's no time to waste.
You have to become that kind of a person, if you want to get more work done every single day. This applies to even the simplest things. For example, you've decided that you'll wash your dishes after each meal. Then you should move straight to action and wash the dishes.
But for people who procrastinate; this is what they do - they hesitate, by doing something else. Instead of simply getting up and washing those plates, they'll start cleaning the table or ironing their clothes - but that wasn't the plan; The plan was to wash the dishes. You always have to move straight to action.
In the end, it comes down to taking action. Nothing will happen if action is not taken to make it so. Smart actions become very important. Thanks for posting @devotedman
