The top 5 cryptocurrency whales, who have been identified, hold a total of about $3.5 billion. Their cryptocurrency wallet addresses are public. But, not all of these crypto whales have access to their own wallets, as a result of misplaced keys to their wallet.

Here are the names of these top five identified crypto whales: Vitalik Buterin of Ethereum, Justin Sun of TRON, James Fickel a crypto capitalist, Stefan Thomas former XRP CTO, Rain Lohmus of LHV Bank.

2 whales out of the top 5 crypto whales cannot access their funds, because they've lost their private keys, they are - Stefan Thomas and Rain Lohmus. Presently, Rain Lohmus wallet holds about $793 million; while Stefan Thomas wallet holds about $452 million.

It's only with private keys that a user can have access to his crypto assets, as it's only with private keys that a user can claim ownership of his assets. Hence, if a user by any chance losses his private keys, the wallet becomes inaccessible and his funds become irretrievable.

Wow they have lost their private keys. So how do they want to actually do it right now. That must have really been so devastating for them actually. I believe they will find a way to go about it
